The Chords are an English Punk Rock Band from South East London, formed in 1978 by Billy Hassett  (Vocals, Guitar) Martin Mason (Bass), Chris Pope (Guitar), and Brett Ascott (Drums).  They were one of the more successful groups to emerge during the Mod Revival Bands, and they re-formed with four original members for a UK tour during 2010.

The Mod Singles Collection is the collection album by The Chords, was released on April 21, 2008 by Captain Mod.  This 20 track release includes all five of the UK Hit Singles plus, as a Bonus, three previously unreleased single edits from 1979, and includes pictures of all relevants sleeves and really is a Best Of The Chords.
